Rosskerrig
Planner: Brian Corbett (CorkO)
Controller: Dave Richardson (Fingal)
Organisers: Terry Ley (CorkO) & Deirdre Ni Challanain (CorkO)
The Irish Orienteering Championships Classic Distance race will take place on the challenging hillside of Rosskerrig, located between Ahakista and Kilcrohane. This area was last used for a 2016 Munster League event, but seasoned orienteers will remember it as the location of the Chasing Start race at the 2011 Shamrock O-Ringen! The area has been completely re-mapped using LIDAR and re-surveyed for the IOC2026 champs.
